Election Day Scenarios

This is, in fact, one of my two nightmare scenarios for Tuesday. Absolutely completely plausible. (*1) The other is that, Nader aside, it's a squeaker in either Florida or Ohio and so the election again ends up in the Supreme Court with, alas, the predictable outcome. Best case scenario for Tuesday? That the most recent polls are accurate and this is over with by the time voting ends on the west coast.

Please, please, please let it be Door Number Three.
